The Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) conducted an inspection at Bishop Stuart University (BSU) to consider the institution's proposal to offer a Diploma in Environmental Health Science. AHPC, a regulatory body under the Ministry of Health in Uganda, oversees the training and practice of allied health cadres to safeguard the public.

A delegation from Bishop Stuart University (BSU), led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John Francis Mugisha, on 27th June 2026, joined Christians of St. John’s Nyabikungu Church of Uganda in Rwampara East for a thanksgiving service celebrating the appointment of Mr. Nabaasa Medard Abaasa, the University Secretary at BSU, as the Head of Laity of the parish.

PGS is a locally focused quality assurance system for organic farming that helps farmers improve the quality of their products and obtain certification.

Students and their teachers visited the Department of Art and Design at the university, where they observed the practical work of BSU's fine art students and enhanced their knowledge of essential skills in the field.

Throughout the conference, BSU team, under the leadership of University Chaplain, Rev. Jastina Bashashemire, assisted by Rev. Aggrey Ayijuka, actively shared the love of Christ through inspiring worship sessions, personal testimonies, mentorship conversations and meaningful one-on-one interactions with students.
