BSU in partnership with URSB, today, 13th May 2026, hosted a training workshop ahead of the official launch of the Technology and Innovation Support Centre (TISC) at the university.
The dinner also featured the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Law Society leaders and the official send-off of outgoing leaders, who received certificates in recognition of their exemplary service and leadership.
The workshop seeks to strengthen curriculum design, delivery, assessment and quality assurance in HEIs in line with Uganda’s CBE reforms.
BSU hosted Archbishop His Grace Lambert Bainomugisha for his 4th annual pastoral visit to the campus on 3rd May 2026. During his visit, the Archbishop Lambert presided over a Holy Mass at the university's main campus.
With support from the Municipal Town Clerk and the Uganda Police Force, the students painted three zebra crossings along the town’s main street. Zebra crossings are critical in busy urban centers where pedestrian traffic is high.
