Student’s Guild Government

The student Guild is composed of all students registered for various programmes at both campuses of the University.

The guild government is elected annually by the entire students’ body.  Each programme (Recess and full time) has its own government headed by the Guild President but the system alternates one year after another.

There is only ONE overall Guild President and the other is the Vice depending on an agreed order of leadership. After the election, the Guild President appoints a cabinet.

The Guild President is responsible to the Guild representative council which is the legislative body of the guild and works as a bridge between the entire student body and the university administration.

The Guild is governed by the constitution which is the supreme document of the student body and it spells out the organs and functions of the guild.
