On 15th October 2026, Bishop Stuart University (BSU) held a career guidance outreach for Senior Five and Senior Six students at Citizen High School, Kibubura Girls Secondary School and Alliance Secondary School in Ibanda District. The initiative aimed to help learners identify their strengths, explore career opportunities and make informed academic decisions.
Leading the BSU team, the Senior Assistant Academic Registrar, Mr. Andrew Ayebare, urged students to remain focused, disciplined and committed to their academic goals. He emphasised the importance of patience, good character, respect for others and trust in God as they work towards success.
Mr. Ayebare also introduced students to BSU’s academic programmes, scholarship opportunities and university admission requirements. He encouraged them to consider joining the University, highlighting its commitment to nurturing Responsible, Ethical, Employable, Entrepreneurial and God-fearing (REEE+G) graduates through a transformative, student-centred learning experience.
The outreach reflects BSU’s continued commitment to community engagement and partnerships with secondary schools, empowering learners with the guidance and information needed to prepare for life beyond secondary education.
