Bishop Stuart University (BSU) yesterday, 6th October, 2026, joined Isingiro Secondary School for a dedication service (Senior Four and Senior Six candidates) and a career guidance session to encourage and prepare students for their final examinations and future careers.
Rev. Dr. Charles Mukundane, PRO, congratulated the candidates upon reaching this important stage of their education and encouraged them to remain focused as they prepare for their final examinations. He also introduced the students to the academic programmes and opportunities offered at Bishop Stuart University, urging Senior Six candidates to consider BSU for transformative learning. “At Bishop Stuart University, we train our learners to be Responsible, Ethical, Employable, Entrepreneurial and God-fearing,” Rev. Dr. Charles said.
Mr. Andrew Ayebare, the Assistant Academic Registrar at BSU, encouraged the candidates to remain focused and prayerful as they pursue their academic and career goals. He urged them to develop a clear vision for their future and make choices that would help them achieve their aspirations, while avoiding distractions that could lead them away from their goals.
The main celebrant, Ven. Rev. Dr. Tomson Abaho, Archdeacon of Kabingo Church of Uganda, urged the candidates to remain humble and remember their roots during this important period of their lives. He reminded them to trust in God, emphasising that He is their help. “It has been God, it is always God and will forever be God,” Rev. Tomson said.
The engagement provided the candidates with both spiritual encouragement and practical guidance as they prepare to sit their final examinations and make important decisions about their future academic and career paths.
