Bishop Stuart University (BSU) on 7th October 2026 conducted a career guidance session for Senior Six candidates at Masheruka Girls Secondary School in Sheema District, aimed at supporting students in making informed decisions about their future careers and education. Led by the Public Relations Officer, Rev. Dr. Charles Mukundane and Assistant Academic Registrar, Mr. Andrew Ayebare, the BSU team encouraged the candidates to remain focused and hopeful as they prepare for their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations, while wishing them success in their forthcoming examinations.
Rev. Dr. Charles Mukundane encouraged the candidates to work hard and acquire both personal and practical skills that will enable them to take advantage of available opportunities and build successful careers. He also guided them on the requirements for joining university after completing A-Levels. He further introduced the candidates to the academic programmes, scholarships and other opportunities available at Bishop Stuart University, encouraging them to consider BSU as a destination for transformative learning and personal development.
Mr. Andrew Ayebare urged the candidates to embrace discipline and maintain good character both at school and beyond, noting that these values are essential for achieving success in life. He also cautioned them about the responsible use of social media, encouraging them to use digital platforms positively and constructively. He further encouraged them to embrace the opportunities that come their way as they pursue their studies.
The career guidance session is part of Bishop Stuart University’s continued commitment to community engagement, aimed at empowering young people with knowledge, skills and guidance to make informed decisions about their education, careers and future.
