On 14th March 2020, Bishop Stuart University will have a charity run during the 6th Annual University Week intended to raise funds for corrective surgery of Children with Club Foot.
Club foot is one of the commonest muscular-skeletal disorders in Uganda. It is attributed to failure to provide treatment to congenital club foot deformity during the infancy period due to limited resources. Single complete care for one child costs Ugx.3,000,000 (Three million Uganda Shillings).
Following this background, Bishop Stuart University is intending to contribute towards supporting at least 50 children with Club Foot that will cost Ugx.150,000,000
You are, therefore, called upon to participate in this run and support this noble cause.
The run will cover 5km and 10km and the flag off venue will be at Booma grounds starting at 7:00 am.
