As part of community engagement, the staff and students from the Department of Social Work, Bishop Stuart University, had a heartwarming outreach activity at Tooro Babies Home in Fortptal on 29th October 2024. The department visited the facility to provide care and support to vulnerable children. Several essential relief items, including Clothing, Diapers, Toiletries, Sugar, Educational materials, Vaseline, Shoes, Beddings and mosquito nets were distributed.
This initiative is aimed at providing the basic necessities for the children’s well-being, promoting community engagement and social responsibility and fostering a sense of empathy and compassion towards the disadvantaged
