A delegation from Bishop Stuart University (BSU), led by the University’s Public Relations Officer, Rev. Dr. Charles Mukundane, crossed the Uganda–Tanzania border on Saturday, 11 July 2026, as part of the University’s participation in an exhibition scheduled to take place in Zanzibar from 14th to 20th July 2026.
The team arrived in Bukoba, Tanzania, where a courtesy meeting was held with the Bishop of the Lweru Diocese. During the meeting, the two parties discussed opportunities for collaboration, with a particular focus on establishing a partnership that could see students from Tanzania enrol at BSU in the near future.
The engagement forms part of the University’s broader internationalisation agenda, which seeks to strengthen the University’s presence beyond Uganda by building strategic partnerships across the region and increasing international student enrolment.
