Bishop Stuart University (BSU) on Friday, 8th May 2026, celebrated the graduation of 105 participants under the RETI Project in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement. The project is implemented by BSU in partnership with Mastercard Foundation and aims at equipping refugees and host communities with practical skills for self-reliance and improved livelihoods.
The graduation marked the completion of Cohort three of the training programme and brought together district leaders, settlement officials, university representatives, trainees, and members of the community.
The ceremony was officiated by the Vice Chancellor of BSU, who was represented by the University Secretary, alongside the Senior Assistant Academic Registrar and other university officials and trainers involved in the implementation of the project.
The Guest of Honour at the ceremony was the Chairperson, LCV of Kamwenge District.
