Bishop Stuart University (BSU) held career guidance sessions for Senior Six candidates at St. Charles Lwanga High School, Kashekuro, and Kitagata Secondary School in Sheema District ahead of their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations on 3rd November 2026.
Led by Public Relations Officer Rev. Dr. Charles Mukundane and Assistant Academic Registrar Mr. Andrew Ayebare, the outreach team urged candidates to make responsible choices during the long holiday, use social media responsibly and develop practical life skills alongside their academic knowledge.
Rev. Dr. Mukundane encouraged students to remain faithful to God and embrace prayer. He also highlighted BSU’s academic programmes and opportunities, urging candidates to join the University for a transformative, student-centred learning experience. “At Bishop Stuart University, we train our learners and produce graduates who are Responsible, Ethical, Employable, Entrepreneurial and God-fearing,” he said.
The outreach is part of BSU’s commitment to community engagement under its ten-year strategic plan and its efforts to guide learners in making informed academic and career choices.
