Today, 10th August 2026, Bishop Stuart University has officially welcomed over 3,000 first-year students for the 2026/2027 academic year, marking the beginning of the University’s Orientation Week, scheduled to run from Monday, 10th August to Friday, 14th August 2026, at the University Chapel grounds.
The students visited key facilities, including the University Library, Administration Block, lecture rooms, ICT laboratories, sports facilities, Medical Centre and other important areas around the campus.
Speaking to the students during the guided tour, Rev. Dr. Charles Mukundane, Public Relations Officer at BSU, warmly welcomed them to the University and thanked them for choosing to join one of Uganda’s prestigious institutions of higher learning.
As our new students begin this exciting journey, they are reminded that university is not only about earning a degree, but also about becoming Responsible, Entrepreneurial, Employable, Ethical and God-fearing (REEE+G) graduates.
