Yesterday, 16th April 2026, Kiruhura Bishop Stuart University Students Association (KBSSA) conducted an outreach targeting Secondary Schools in Kiruhura District. Led by Rev. Dr. Nuwemuhwezi Gershom, the senior lecturer at BSU and a patron, the team visited schools including Rwanyangwe High School, Bishop Girls SS Rushere and Sedes Sapientiae Academiae SS in Rushere.
The outreach aimed at providing career guidance and promoting environmental conservation through tree planting. Dr. Rev. Gershom emphasized the importance of good behavior, self-esteem, love and prayer while encouraging Senior six students to stay focused for university admission. He highlighted BSU’s commitment to producing responsible, ethical, employable, entrepreneurial and God-fearing graduates.
