Bishop Stuart University (BSU) held an orientation today for the newly appointed lecturers and administrators. This is part of the University’s commitment to equipping employees with an understanding of our values, mission and expectations. The orientation was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John F. Mugisha, together with the University Secretary, Mr. Nabaasa Medard.
While welcoming the new staff, Prof. Mugisha congratulated them on their appointments and reminded them that their selection was part of God’s divine plan. He encouraged them to embrace their new responsibilities with dedication, integrity and purpose.
The Vice Chancellor emphasized that BSU is committed to preparing learners not only for success at the University but also for life hereafter. He urged them (new staff) to uphold Christian values by being responsible, respecting others and maintaining a personal relationship with God as they nurture and transform learners. “As we deliver our services to our clients, whether in the classroom, clinic, or laboratory, let us do so in the best way that pleases God. In doing so, we shall build a great University and a great nation,” Prof. Mugisha said.
