NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE GRADUANDS
Congratulations on the successful completion of your studies!
The Academic Registrar is pleased to inform all prospective graduands that the 22nd Graduation Ceremony will be held at the Sports Riverside Grounds on Friday, 23rd October 2026.
To be eligible for graduation at this ceremony, prospective graduands must fulfill the following requirements:
1. GRADUATION CLEARANCE
a) The physical graduation clearance exercise will commence on 19th August 2026 and end on 23rd September 2026.
b) All prospective graduands must complete the clearance process with all relevant departments. Only students with Senate-approved results will be eligible for graduation.
2. VERIFICATION OF ACADEMIC RECORDS
All Prospective graduands are advised to log in to their student portal and verify that:
- All course units and examination results are correctly captured.
- Their Personal information, including Names, Date of birth and passport photograph, is accurate. The University prints names on certificates and transcripts exactly as they appear on the submitted documents at the time of admission and registration, i.e O-Level and A-Level academic documents and other certificates.
- There are no outstanding academic, financial, or disciplinary issues that may affect graduation clearance.
Important: Any queries regarding examination results should be addressed to the respective Faculty Registrar not later than 12th September 2026.
3. DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE ACADEMIC REGISTRAR’S OFFICE
Each prospective graduand is required to submit the following:
- Four (4) duly completed and signed copies of the Graduation Clearance Form (Student Copy, Academic Registrar’s Copy, Head of Department’s Copy, and Dean of Students’ Copy).
- Proof of payment of the Graduation Fee of UGX 300,000.
- A duly signed and stamped testimonial Results by the Head of Department and Faculty Dean.
- A financial statement showing a zero-tuition balance.
- Proof of payment of the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) annual fees from the first year of study to the final year.
