Bishop Stuart University (BSU) Women’s Volleyball Team has been crowned champions of the 2026 Western Volleyball League (WVL) after a 3–1 victory over Sheema High School.
The final, held at Mbarara University courts, saw the Kakoba-based side display resilience and skill to secure the title. BSU claimed the match with set scores of 25–20, 18–25, 25–13 and 25–24, sealing the contest in a highly competitive showdown.
This remarkable victory marks a milestone for Bishop Stuart University, as the team clinches its first-ever regional championship. The triumph also earns BSU a well-deserved spot in the national Tier One competition, elevating the university’s presence on the national volleyball stage.
