The 10th Annual Bishop Stuart University (BSU) Mission Week has officially commenced today, 22nd February 2026, with a powerful Mega Sunday Service held at the University’s main campus.
The Mission Week, guided by the theme “Anchored in Christ for Unity, Stability and Peace” (Ephesians 2:11–22), has been officially opened by the Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Assoc. Prof. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa, in a colorful ceremony attended by members of the University Council, staff, students and BSU community.
The week-long event attracted a delegation of staff led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John F. Mugisha, alongside members of top management. Over 60 individuals were confirmed into the Anglican faith and more than 100 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
Indeed, we give thanks to God for His grace and faithfulness that made this powerful start possible.
