Founded in 2002 by Ankole Diocese of the Province of the Anglican Church of Uganda, Bishop Stuart University (BSU) is a private, not-for-profit educational institution, CHARTERED and located in Western Uganda 31/2 km from Mbarara City Headquarters.

Build Operate and Transfer Partnership
Bishop Stuart University invites interested parties to express interest for a Build, Operate and Transfer Partnership. The University has freehold land suitable for the construction of students’ hostels. The successful partner will construct Student Accommodation (Hostel) for 2,500 students on this land, use the assets for a mutually agreed period and hand over the property to the institution at the end of the agreed period.
Submission of Proposals
Proposals can be submitted in PDF format by email to us@bsu.ac.ug or three printed hard copies submitted in sealed envelopes to the address below, NOT LATER than 15th March 2024 at 5:00 pm (EAT) and plainly marked “Proposal for a Build, Operate and Transfer Partnership at Bishop Stuart University” on the sealed envelope.
