Byaruhanga Sserioza Richard is a lecturer in the Lecturer in the Department of Public Health and Biomedical SciencesFaculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, Bishop Stuart University.  He holds a Masters Degree in Community Health from the University of Innsbruck School of Public Health- Austria, a PGD in Community Health Expert (Public Health), University of Innsbruck School of Public Health- Austria, a Diploma in Hospital Management from Uganda Martyrs University, and a Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Public Health from Fort Portal School of Clinical officers, Fort portal.

He is a PhD Student (Public Health) at MUST. Research focus “Effects, risk factors and treatment outcomes among patients with Multidrug-Resistant / Extensively drug-resistant TB in South Western Uganda”. He has supervised a couple of Undergraduate and Post Graduate students in research work since 2004.
