PhD Defence Abstract – Byamukama Willbroad

This study was carried out to investigate the Adoption of Information Communication Technologies in developing countries; Uganda where agriculture is the mainstay and a major contributor to sustenance of livelihoods and boosting economies by looking at the proportionate of farmers using ICT, factors influencing adoption, extent and validating UTAUT-2 model appropriate in the dissemination of agricultural information in Uganda with specific reference to Rubanda District, Mayuge District, and Mbarara City.
