Staff Training on Electronic Resources
To: All BSU Staff
You are invited to attend a training session on the use of electronic resources. The session will be held from 24th to 25th April 2023 in Computer Lab B.
Electronic resources play a crucial role in providing our patrons with access to up-to-date and relevant information. To ensure that we can continue to provide this service effectively, we have organized a training session to retool staff with techniques and skills for effective electronic resource utilization.
During the session, we will cover a range of topics including:
- Introduction to information access points at BSU
- BSU Institutional Repository (IR)
- Research4life Programs
- TEEAL and Using AgriKnowledge
- Accessing E-resources through MyLoft
- Formulating Search Strategies
- Reference Management tools – Mendeley
- Copyright and Licensing Issues
The training will be conducted by library staff and external facilitators, who will provide hands-on instruction and guidance on the use of these resources. We encourage you to bring your laptop or other mobile devices to the session to participate in the practical exercises.
