Mugumya Norman is a creative and forward-thinking full-stack Web Developer currently working as a Webmaster at Bishop Stuart University. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology (BSIT) from Bishop Stuart University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSc.IS) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST).

He has an experience of more than 5 years in Web and Information Systems Programming, Content Management Systems, Database and Cloud Management, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Cyber Security, Frontend Development and Responsive Designs (UI/UX) for both Static and Dynamic web content.

Beyond his role as a Webmaster, Norman shares his knowledge with students under the Department of Computing, Library and Information Technology (CLIT) as a Teaching Assistant. He also provides technical support to the Open Distance and E-Learning (ODeL) team at Bishop Stuart University.

PARTICIPATION IN PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

  1. AgriScale (Implementation of Problem-Based Learning in Higher Education Institutions) – 2020–2023
    The AgriScale Project aims to implement Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in Higher Education Institutions in Finland, Kenya, Italy, Uganda and Zambia.Collaborated with team members to develop informational materials, including brochures, presentations, and reports, to effectively communicate project progress and impact through a series of online meetings.
  2. JODET (Journal of Development, Education, and Technology)
    Currently serving as a member of the Editorial Board for JODET, a journal focusing on Public Health, Education, Agriculture, Development and Technology.
