Kyarikunda Monica is a Lecturer at Bishop Stuart University, Department of Economics, Statistics and Tourism ManagementFaculty of Business, Economics, and Governance.

She teaches, mentors and supervises students in tourism and conservation-related disciplines. Her responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, developing and reviewing curricula, supervising research and internships and coordinating tourism and conservation programs.

She is a PhD Candidate at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. Research focus: Community-Based Tourism and contribution to biodiversity conservation. She holds a Master of Science in Environment and Natural Resources from Makerere University (2010 to 2012) and a Bachelor of Tourism from Makerere University (2006 to 2009).
