Public Lecture – Pre-18th Graduation

As a culture, Bishop Stuart University holds a Public Lecture every year, an event for Pre-Graduation. This year’s Public Lecture is slated for 22nd March 2023 from 2:00 PM at Lake View Resort Hotel, Mbarara City.

The event will be guided by the theme “Transformative Education; Theory and Practice in the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals in Africa”. This was arrived at after a critical analysis to give back to the public so that the University can positively and holistically change the thinking and knowledge application of our audience towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Guest Speaker will be Prof. Rutanga Murindwa, School of Social Science, Makerere University and the discussant will be Assoc. Prof. Katusiimeh Mesharch Walto from Kabale University.

This event precedes the 18th BSU Graduation Ceremony which will be held on 24th March 2023 at the Main Campus, Riverside Sports Grounds, Kakoba, Mbarara.
