Business Coach Training (ToT) for BSU Staff

BSU-AVSI partnership in the Skilling in Agripreneurship for Increased Youth Employment (SAY) project.
Introduction:
AVSI Foundation is implementing the Skilling in Agripreneurship for Increased Youth Employment (SAY) Project with funding from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands (EKN). SAY is a 4-year project running from November 2020 to December 2024 and focusing on developing competences of young people between 13 to 30 years to increase income opportunities, create jobs and business opportunities in the agri-business sector in an inclusive and sustainable manner.
The SAY project is intended to contribute concretely to increased agri-skills level of youth and their gainful employment in the agribusiness sector in Uganda as part of efforts to socio-economically spur Uganda to middle-income status.
AVSI Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bishop Stuart University (BSU) to implement the SAY project at the university. The overall objective of this partnership is to provide Agribusiness Incubation support to innovative agri-enterprises and services, developed by students at BSU.
As part of this project, University staff will be required to provide the upcoming student enterpreneurs in the project with business mentorship support.
Invitation:
BSU hereby invites applications from interested members of staff (academic and administrative) for a Business Coach training. The purpose of this training will be to impart skills to members of staff who are interested in supporting student entreprenuers in business ideation, entrepreneurship skills, developing business plans, and growing students’ businesses, among other things.
The training will take place in the 3rd week of August (23rd -27th) and it will be online, 3 hours every day. Participants will be facilitated with data to support their participation.
