Bishop Stuart University is in preparations to host the 13th Inter-University Human Rights (IHR) competition in late June this year. The initial stages for the plans are underway and have commenced today with a preparatory meeting held at the University with the FHRI team led by Mr. Elly Kasirye the project officer.
This program is aimed at building students’ knowledge and research in regard to human rights and nurture them into abled leaders. It should be remembered that in November 2021, BSU secured the 2nd runners-up position at the 12th annual IHR Competition which were held at Gulu University. It’s from this background that the Foundation for Human Rights Initiative (FHRI) earmarked Bishop Stuart University to host this upcoming event.
Event dates, venue and more details will be communicated in due course.
