CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UGANDA ON THE 59TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY

The Board of Trustees, Council, Management, Staff and Students of Bishop Stuart University with great pleasure wish to convey our sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the National Resistance Movement (NRM), Parliament, Government of the Republic of Uganda, Cabinet and the people of Uganda as a whole on the occasion of the 59th Independence Anniversary.

We take this opportunity to wish the president and the people of Uganda good health, well-being, greater success, progress and prosperity in your noble tasks.

As a Chartered University, we look forward to working closely with the Government of Uganda to further strengthen the commitment to fulfill our vision “To be a University for recreating the society with Academic Excellency, Christian Values and Entrepreneurship”. We shall endeavor to continue instilling knowledge and a positive attitude in our students as part of our endeavor in implementing the Skilling Uganda Strategy.

Admissions for August Intake AY 2021/2022

We are currently receiving applications for this intake. Reporting of First-Year students is with effect from 1st November 2021. Apply online via  admissions.bsu.ac.ug

Bachelor of Laws Pre-entry Examinations

Pre-entry Exams are scheduled for 11th and 12th October 2021. Applications are still being received.

Administrative Officers Law Course will commence on 5th November 2021 at the Faculty of Law premises and this will take a month, closing on 5th December 2021.

Higher Education Students’ Financing Board (HESFB) Loan Scheme

HESFB has established a Center at the BSU main Campus to ease the application process for students from the Greater Ankole Region who are requesting this loan for the first time. The center will be launched on 13th October 2021.

Facilitated Academic Resource (FAR) Centre – Bishop Stuart University (BSU) and Trinity Western University (TWU) Partnership

You can now obtain a Canadian Masters Degree through the BSU/TWU FAR Center. Apply for a Master of Arts in Leadership and Master of Arts in Educational Leadership accredited by the National Council for Higher Education. With this great opportunity, you will get a free VISA to Canada and a work permit after your first year of study at BSU. The first 20 applicants have a waiver on the Application Form Fee.

Internship program for Agriculture students in Israel

Students pursuing Agriculture and Agribusiness courses at BSU qualify for a one-year apprenticeship/training for International Agriculture Capacity-building in Israel.
