Bishop Stuart University (BSU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with AVSI Foundation to implement the Skilling and Agripreneruship for Youth (SAY) project at BSU. The overall objective of this project is to provide business incubation services to students at BSU.
As a result of this, and as one of the key activities of the project in this quarter, there is a Refresher Training for the previous Business Coaches in Agribusiness Incubation Hub (AIH), who trained with Fred de Boer (PUM Expert). Business Coaches are expected to have a key role to play in mentoring students’ businesses in the SAY project.
The Refresher training that started today Tuesday 10th August 2021, was attended by BSU Business Coaches and partners AVSI Foundation and Excelhort Agribusiness Incubator (EHCAI) and will end on Wednesday 11th August 2021. The program runs from 9.00 am to 12 noon.
In the following week, new members of staff will be invited to train as Business Coaches to increase the capacity to handle the needs of the students in the SAY project. They will be welcomed to join the facilitating team after the old staff have trained. Please express your interest in the Refresher Training next week.
